3, which features Dhanush and Shruti Haasan in the lead is the most anticipated film of 2012, thanks to the Kolaveri Di number! The movie, which marks the debut direction of Superstar Rajinikanth’s elder daughter Aishwarya Dhanush, will release simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
Talking to DC, Aishwarya says, “Initially, we planned to release 3 in early February. Now we want the dubbed Bollywood and T’town versions to release along with the Tamil version simultaneously. Work is going on in full swing and I hope to complete the film by Feb end.”
Sources say that since the Tamil Film Producers Council is planning to relax the diktat of releasing big budget films only on five festive occasions and not eight, 3 in all probability will release by the first half of March.
A close source adds that 3 has shaped up extremely well and will showcase Dhanush in B’town in a great perspective since the National award winner is making his debut in Hindi films with Raanjhnaa, which is directed by Aanand L. Rai.
