It’s a coup of sorts if sources in the industry are to be believed! According to tinsel town sources, Trisha, who on two earlier occasions could not team up with Jiiva for various reasons, has finally agreed to share screen space with the Ko star in a film to be directed by Ahmed.
This yet-to-be-titled flick is touted as a musical rom-com and Jiiva has been officially announced as the lead actor. Harris Jayaraj has been roped in to provide the music for the film.
The buzz is that post Ko’s stupendous success, Jiiva is considered to be hot for action-musical subjects. One may recall that Harris’s songs worked big time for him.
Jiiva is presently working with some of the finest filmmakers including Gautham Menon and Mysskin. A little birdie wonders whether this could be one of the reasons for Trisha’s change of mind.
Sources say that the film has an alluring script and the sizzling new pair will have a different look — it may turn out to be yet another Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya for the Mankatha star.
