Well, we only mean K as in Ms. Dee's Kannada connection. Not many remember that much before the leggy lass made her dream debut opposite King Khan; she was part of a famous Kannada film - Aishwarya.
Recently, when Deepika Padukone was on zoOm's new show Indiatimes Star Chitchat, one of her fans reminded her of the film. The actress was surprised to know that her fans still remembered her debut film. "I had signed Om Shanti Om but SRK was shooting for Chak De! India in Australia and I had a whole year to prep. So I took up a Kannada film as practice," she revealed.
Deepika was so excited talking about the film, that she even conversed with the fan in fluent Kannada, leaving the fan shocked and surprised at the same time. Ms Dee's Rana with Rajnikanth is reportedly shelved, but we hope to see her in more south films... A little something for the fans down south. What say?
