Mohanlal's eagerly awaited Onam release Casanova has been put on the backburner.
Mohanlal's distribution concern Max Lab has informed theatres in Kerala which had chartered Casanova for Onam, that the film has
been postponed!
The official reason given is that the Roshan Andrews directed film will take more time to complete its shoot.
Instead of Casanova Max Lab is offering theatres in Kerala, Kunchacko Bobban's Dr Love as the alternative Onam release!
Dr Love is directed by debutant K Biju and has Boban Kunchacko and Bhavana in the lead.
The film is produced by Joy Sakthikulangara, who has also produced Mohanlal's super hit Hello.
The theatres which had chartered Casanova as their Onam release are totally unhappy with the replacement film.
It clearly means Mohanlal will not have a Onam 2011 release!
