Vijay’s Velayutham has marched towards its 100th day successfully. The film was released on 26 October 2011 and had one of the grandest openings ever for
Vijay. The film was directed by Jayam Raja and had Genelia and Hansika playing the female leads.
Produced by Aascar Ravichandran, this film had music by Vijay Anthony. Velayutham was based on the Telugu flick Azad released several years ago but Jayam
Raja had changed certain sequences to suit Vijay fans’ tastes.
